JEE Main 2018: CBSE issued JEE Main Online application form for session 2018 at jeemain.nic.in. Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2018 will be conducted by the JEE Apex Board for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes. JEE (Main) secretariat/CBSE is only responsible for conducting entrance exam and declaration of result. JEE Main 2018 Notification
Official notification about JEE Main 2018 issued a few days back. In which use of Aadhaar for the candidates was highlighted. Along with this, candidates from Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttrakhand, Nagaland, Odisha & some other institutions have joined JEE (Main) system. So, are advised to fill up JEE Main application form. JEE 2018 Exam Date
The examination of JEE (Main) – 2018 in pen-paper based (offline) mode will be conducted on 08th April 2018 and Computer Based Mode (Online) Examination will be conducted on 15th & 16th April 2018.
JEE Main 2018 Last Date of Application
The Process of Online Application Form Submission for JEE MAIN 2018 will start from 01st Dec 2017 and the last date for submission is 01st Jan 2018.
JEE Main 2018 Eligibility Criteria
There are multiple eligibility criteria in order appear in the examination. As you all might be aware of use of Aadhaar card in form filling process except candidates from J&K, Assam & Meghalaya.
- Date of Birth: Candidates those are born on or after October 01, 1993 are eligible. However, there is relaxation for SC, ST and PwD candidates by 5 years.
- Year of passing: Only those candidates who have passed 12th or equivalent in year 2016 or 2017 or appearing in 2018 are eligible to appear in the examination. Candidates who are in 11th (appearing 12th in 2019) are not eligible. Candidates who appeared in class 12th in 2015, but did not pass and cleared it in 2016 are also not eligible.
- Minimum Marks Required: Candidates must have taken 5 subjects in 12th/equivalent examination.
Type of Examination
JEE (Main) 2018 shall have two papers, Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) and Paper-2 (B. Arch./B. Planning.). Candidates may take Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.), or Paper-2 (B. Arch./B. Planning) or both.
JEE Main 2018 Online Application Form
Online Application Form for JEE(Main) 2018 will be available from 1st of December. Before filling up the application form the candidate should have a scanned image of his/her photograph, signature and father’s/mother’s/guardian’s signature. There is standard for photo and scanned signature too. Please make sure you follow each step carefully as described in official notification.

Signature of Candidate- JPEG format;Size- 1KB to 30KB and Dimension 3.5cm x 1.5cm
Signature of Father/Mother/Guardian should be in JPEG format of size 1KB to 30KB and Dimension 3.5cm x 1.5cm.
JEE MAIN Admit card: The Admit Card can be downloaded from JEE (Main) website from 2nd week March 2018 onwards.
JEE Main Result: Score and Result for JEE (Main): The score and rank of Paper-I of JEE (Main) –2018 for all candidates will be declared by 30th April 2018.
